During my second year of university, we were tasked a 'communication' brief. This brief involved us looking into current news and recreating a 'Growth magazine' to assist the news article we found. During this time period, the cost of living crisis was all over the media. I decided to challenge myself and tackle this!
The meaning behind my cover represents how fast money is going. At first, you have a large stack of coins which eventually decreases until you are left with nothing. The insert of the magazine mimics a cereal box that often has advertisements plastered all over the packaging. It was really fun to experiment with word play as well as take a break from my standard style - I learned a lot creatively during this brief!
This brief was completed using Procreate.
